Ok so here is the deal, there are feeds out there that just have too many articles to read each one of them… but there are feeds out there that have only a few articles a day or even a few articles a week. Now, if you want these feeds’ articles to all be sent to you as a push notification, you can use this little trick:
- In the keyword configuration section click the plus sign at the top to add a new keyword
- Type in a period “.” (without the quotes) in the text box
- Click Save
- Click the newly created keyword and browse through the categories and sub-categories to find the feed you want to get all the articles for
That’s it! You will now start to receive all the articles that this feed will produce.
Enjoy!
I purchased this app very excited to see finallyyyy an RSS app w/ push abilities however, I am disappointed that I cannot add my own feed. (which is why I purchased it) my feed is to a small skinning website I work on so it is not accessible via typing in the “.” of course as it is not popular. Will you please consider adding the ability to add our own feeds? Thank you
I agree. Being able to type in specific websites to add feeds would make this app much better.
I third that motion: I will buy this and leave a review if I can add my own feeds. In the meantime I’ll use another RSS feed App to keep track of 1.1 update (hmmm… can you see the problem?). I do like the idea of searching a wide range of feeds though, it’ll give me a wider scope of a specific category of news. One thing however; with there being so many feeds will it push me very time one of them (that matches my keyword list) is updated? Would I constantly be notified every few minutes or does it only push feeds that I want? (Sorry if this seems a simple question and I have missed the point).
