Congratulations on purchasing the RSSPush iPhone application. Here is a step-by-step tutorial to get you going quickly.
-
On the first launch of the application, you will be prompted by the phone whether or not you want to allow remote notifications to be sent to this application. If this step is skipped, you will not be able to use the application at all.

- The second screen you will get is this welcome screen:

- So the first step once you click ok on this screen is to configure your keywords.
To do this, click the
button in the top left corner.
-
In the menu that appears, select Configure Keywords:

-
You can now type a keyword in the text field or select one from the top 100 keywords list.

- In the Top 100 list, click a keyword and the value will be added to the new keyword text field. Use the save button at the top right corner to save the keyword.
- Once your keywords are saved, you will be brought back to the keyword screen.

-
Click the keywords individually to select the associated feeds.
-
Select a feed category

-
Select a feed sub-category

-
From the list of feeds, click the title of a feed to select it, click again it to deselect it.

- Click the back arrow to move back up the structure and select a different category or sub category. You can apply as many feeds as you want to each of your keywords.
-
- Once you are done your keyword configuration, you can exit from the application. From the moment you assign a keyword to a feed, if an article gets published and contains your new keyword, you will get a remote notification that a new article is available:

- When you select to view, the application will launch and download the new article(s) from the server:

- The Blue dots indicate that the articles are unread.
-
Clicking an article will open the article detail view:

-
The article detail view also displays the matching keywords, the date the article was published and a link to the original article.
-
You can click links in the article to browse using the built-in web browser.
-
The top right button lets you mark the article as unread and also lets you delete the article.
-
The back button gets you back to the article selection page.
- The actions menu we used at the beginning of the tutorial to configure the keywords can also be used to mark all articles as read, to delete all articles or to force a sync with the server with check for new articles
If you Experience network difficulty while you use the application, a message will appear telling you that you need to be connected to the internet to use the application. The top left actions menu will be disabled. You will only be able to read the articles that are already downloaded to your device but the images will not load at all.

We hope you enjoy this application as much as we do. There will be many new features added to future versions of this application so make sure you keep it up to date.
